One last project for the Black History Month

On this last day of February, and still to mark Black History Month, we share with you another magnificent project on which our director Valérie Lessard had the chance and the pleasure of working as a researcher. audiovisual archives.

In production, Black Life: A Canadian History is an eight-part documentary series that will explore the rich and complex history of the Black experience in Canada, a story that spans over 400 years. An unvarnished and precise look at contemporary issues, culture, entertainment and sports.

The series is scheduled to launch on CBC in 2023.

For more information on Black Life: A Canadian History Documentary Series, see the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/blackcandoc, where some archive photos already give a glimpse of the richness of the content.
